TUTORING
Interested in tutoring services for your child? We offer various tutoring services by certified teachers for grades 1 to 8. Group tutroing programs will be offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings 6PM to 8PM, located at St. Fidelis Catholic School.

OPTION 1
Group Tutoring - Language Arts (Beginner)
Dates - TBA (Inquire Within)
For students who are still learning to recognize letters and their corresponding sounds.

Letter/Sound Recognition

Word segmentation (beginning, middle, ending sounds)

Begin blending 2 or more sounds
-
Simple sight words practice

Practice pencil grip and formation of letters

Write simple words and sentences

Homework help and review if required
Minimum 3-student registration required to run the program.
OPTION 2
Group Tutoring - Language Arts (Emergent)
Dates - TBA (Inquire Within)
For students who know their letters and corresponding sounds, but require more practice decoding words, recognizing sound chunks and applying them in order to decode.

Two-and three-letter blends

Sound chunks that make the same sound

Practice strategies that help to decode words

Printing practice

Sight word vocabulary practice

Write sentences with a variety of structures

Homework help and review if required

OPTION 3
Group Tutoring - Math (Beginner)
Dates - TBA (Inquire Within)

Count, identify and write numbers to 10

Use manipulatives (i.e. number lines, counters, etc.) to represent numbers

Add and subtract numbers to 10

Use numbers to 10 to create graphs

Identify 2D and 3D shapes and some of their properties

OPTION 4
Group Tutoring - Math (Emergent)
